Elgato EyeTV Hybrid

EyeTV Hybrid delivers digital free-to-view digital television to your Mac, as well as analogue television via cable and aerial. What’s more, EyeTV Hybrid comes with a composite (RCA) and S-Video break-out cable to connect a variety of devices to your Mac, such as a set top box for premium channels and satellite, a VCR, or a Camcorder.

• 512 MB of physical RAM
• Built-in USB 2.0 port
• Mac OS X v10.4.11 or later
• 720p or 1080i HD features require an Intel Core 2 Duo processor.
• 2 GB of free disk space required for one hour of recorded DVB-T television
• Internet connection required to download Program Guide data
• A CD/DVD recorder and Toast Titanium software (not included) are required to create DVDs, SVCDs or Video CDs (optional)

*Analogue TV is processed using software encoding; the quality of the recording will depend on your Mac’s processor speed

Important note about the included aerial:
EyeTV DTT’s included rod aerial is primarily intended for use in areas where DVB-T broadcasting stations emit enough power for portable DVB-T reception. It is Mac Gear's experience that Australian customers need to connect the Eye TV to their rooftop aerial for best results.
